For a group registration with a single payment

Each participant should register and click payment by bank transfer.
One person should contact Martine Moreillon (martine.moreillon@unil.ch) indicating the last and first names of the participants to allow the edition of an invoice.

Please also indicate to whom the invoice should be addressed with the postal address and e-mail address

Abstract submission

250 words maximum (no tables, no graphics). Please be aware that special signs might not show correctly.

The content is the responsibility of the authors and will show as entered in the application.

You will be able to indicate your preference by clicking “oral or poster” presentation, with no guaranty to be selected for an oral presentation.

Submission Deadline: 2 April, 2019

Notification of acceptance for oral or poster presentation: by 15 April, 2019

Poster size: maximum width: 90 cm & maximum height: 120 cm (A0)

The participants should bring their printed poster with them to the Symposium

Boards and pins will be available on site from Sunday 2 June (7.30 a.m.) to Tuesday 4 June (1.30 p.m.)


Applicants should send a short e-mail to martine.moreillon@unil.ch explaining their motivation to apply for a grant including a PDF Curriculum Vitae

Participants without submitted abstract(s) are not qualified to apply for a grant

The number of grants is limited. The awardees will be notified personally

The ISCVID Symposium will take place at the University of Lausanne

To reach the University of Lausanne from the train station will take 20-30 minutes

Take the metro M2 direction Croisettes (across the street in front of the main train station exit)

Exit at Lausanne-Flon (next stop) and take metro M1 direction Renens and exit at UNIL-Sorge. From there cross the street and you will see Amphipôle/Amphimax building (the entrance is on the south side of the building).

Your travel to Lausanne

International Geneva airport is the closest airport (https://www.gva.ch/en). From the airport you have to take the train to Lausanne. The train station is located in the airport. You will find the schedules on https://www.sbb.ch/en. You can buy your train ticket at the train station counter, at the ticket machines or online on https://www.sbb.ch/en

Accommodation in Lausanne

“Lausanne Tourisme” organizes accommodation for the ISCVID Symposium participants.

The online booking platform offers a special selection of **, *** and ****  hotels from 1 June to 5 June 2019

In order to guarantee a reservation, a credit card is requested but accommodation will be paid to the hotel upon arrival

The credit card will only be charged in case of cancellation less than 3 days prior to the arrival date or in case of “no-show”

Lausanne hotels offer a “Lausanne Transport Card” to their guests that allows free and unrestricted access to all public transport services in the city (bus, train, metro) during their stay

Housing will be the responsibility of the participants. To have the best prices guaranteed, participants can use the dedicated Online Booking platform by Lausanne Tourism.
